About the role:
As a Counsellor, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based counselling to children and adults. You’ll work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, supporting clients across a range of environments including offices, homes, schools and via telepractice.
This is an opportunity to apply your clinical expertise while contributing to the growth and development of an expanding service.
Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Deliver evidence-based counselling and develop tailored programs to meet clients needs
- Manage a caseload, including documentation, case notes and progress reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to support strong client outcomes
- Contribute to continuous improvement and development of counselling services
About you:
You are a compassionate and skilled counsellor who values inclusive, person-centred practice
In your application, let us know if you have these key skills and experience:
- Qualifications in Counselling and current registration with the Australian Counselling Association
- Demonstrated experience working with mental health issues and evidence-based practices
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and client engagement skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise a caseload

- Experience working within interdisciplinary or allied health teams
- Fluency in Auslan and strong understanding of Deaf culture and communication styles
