The Role
We're looking for an experienced and hands on Head Chef to lead a busy cafe kitchen that serves both in house guests and catering clients. You'll oversee daily operations, manage a small team whilst bringing creativity to a modern, cafe style menu. This role suits a Chef who enjoys variety - from cooking beautiful a la carte dishes to coordinating bulk production for functions all whilst maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and team work. It's a great opportunity for someone with leadership flair and a passion for good food, looking to take the next step in their career.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will possess, but not be limited to, the following attributes:
- Proven experience in a Head Chef role within a modern cafe, bulk cooking and casual dining environments
- Strong leadership, time management and communication skills
- Confident with bulk production, catering and function prep
- Hands-on on energetic and passionate about creating food
- Able to take direction, work hard and be a part of a team
