Mater Private Hospital Brisbane is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Mater Children's Private Brisbane on a permanent part time basis (36 hours per week).
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team that delivers exceptional care to Paediatric patients with a broad range of medical and surgical conditions. You’ll be supported by a collaborative and values-driven environment where your skills and professional development are truly valued.
Salary range: $41.74 - $53.53 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
As a Registered Nurse in MCPB, you’ll play an integral role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a fast-paced Paediatric ward and Paediatric day surgical unit.
You will:
- Provide safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care to patients with a variety of acute medical and surgical conditions
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and holistic family centered care
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient safety and experience
- Support and mentor students and junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence
About you
You are a dedicated and adaptable Paediatric nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality patient and family centered care and supporting positive health outcomes. You thrive in a team environment and are motivated by Mater’s mission to provide exceptional healthcare with compassion and respect.
You will also have:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
- A commitment to professional development and ongoing learning
- Strong paediatric focus and passion for providing family centered care
- Excellent communication, clinical assessment, and time management skills
- A commitment to Mater’s values of compassion, dignity, care, and service excellence
- Paediatric nursing experience highly desirable
